Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive College Outreach Intern to join our team. The intern will play a crucial role in expanding CodeChef’s reach within the college coding communities by establishing connections with key college authorities and promoting our programs. This position is ideal for someone passionate about programming, community building, and outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact Detail Acquisition:
- Identify and gather contact details of Training and Placement Officers (TPOs), Heads of Departments (HODs), and other relevant college authorities.
- Maintain an organized database of contacts.
- Outreach and Communication:
- Initiate and manage communication with college authorities through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Present and explain CodeChef’s college programs and offerings to college authorities and coding clubs.
- Follow up on initial contacts to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Program Promotion::
- Promote CodeChef’s college programs, coding competitions, and other initiatives within the college communities.
- Collaborate with student representatives and coding clubs to spread awareness and encourage participation in CodeChef activities.
- Reporting and Feedback::
- Provide regular updates and reports on outreach activities, contact progress, and program adoption.
- Gather feedback from college authorities and coding communities to help improve CodeChef’s offerings and outreach strategies.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using email, phone, and other communication tools.
- Experience with community outreach or Cultural / Technical event organization.
- Basic understanding of marketing and promotion strategies.
