CodeChef's Cancellation and Refund Policy

At CodeChef, we strive to provide the best experience to our users, including those who subscribe to CodeChef Pro. Please read our return/refund policy carefully to understand our guidelines and procedures.

CodeChef Pro Subscription Refunds:

  • We have a strict no refund policy for CodeChef Pro subscriptions.
  • Once your subscription is upgraded to CodeChef Pro, it becomes non-refundable. This policy ensures the continuity of your Pro benefits throughout the subscription period.


Exceptional Circumstances

  • In rare and exceptional circumstances, we may, at our discretion, consider a partial refund for CodeChef Pro subscriptions. These circumstances are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may include technical issues that prevent access to Pro features or other unique situations. Any such request for a discretionary partial refund should be made in writing to our customer support team at [email protected].
  • If your refund in approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a 10-12 working days.


Cancellation of Pro Subscription:

  • You may cancel your Subscription by either writing to us at [email protected] or through your account on the CodeChef platform. However, please note there shall be no refund of the Fee already paid for your Subscription, unless otherwise specified. Therefore, please read these Terms of Service carefully before subscribing to any of the Subscriptions.
  • When you cancel your Subscription, CodeChef may disable access to features available only to Pro Users who have purchased/renewed Subscription, while your account may continue to exist on the CodeChef platform.
