About ICPC For Schools:
  • ICPC for Schools is an inter school competition for high school students.
  • This competition serves as a gateway for the school students to participate in ACM ICPC contest along with ICPC college participants held across India. It was conceived last year by CodeChef and supported by Amrita University.
  • This year Amrita University, ABV IIIT-M Gwalior and IIT Kharagpur regional sites have extended their support.

Travel Reimbursement to the onsite:
  • Teams who have solved atleast 2 problems in the online round will be entitled for travel reimbursement of upto INR 1500/- per individual.

  • Individuals coming under top 10 (in Indian school category) in CodeChef’s October Lunchtime will be entitled for travel reimbursement of upto INR 1500/-.

Kindly note:

  • The said amount shall be reimbursed against submission of valid proof (in original) E.g. Train & Bus Tickets, etc. Note: Flight tickets will not be considered for travel reimbursement.
  • The reimbursement is irrespective of a team or an individual traveling to multiple sites i.e only a total reimbursement of INR 1500/- will be provided even if you choose two travel to two sites.
  • Though an individual get selected in both the categories, he/she can claim a reimbursement only upto INR 1500/-.

    Preliminary Online Contest Details:
    • The preliminary online contest will be held on 5th November, 2017.
    • Post the online round top teams from each regional site will be invited to the respective onsite round in the month of December.
    • Students are allowed to register for maximum two regional sites.

    • The languages allowed are Java, Python and C/C++.
    Eligibility Criteria:
    • Any school student from India can participate in the contest.
    • It is a team contest with each team having a maximum of upto three members from the same school. Even one member per team would do!
    Team Formation:
    • Every team should have a mentor teacher from their school.
